Omicron has postponed The 12th Tehran International Animation Festival

In accordance with all international standards, the Secretariat of the Tehran International Animation Festival wish, could have been held the 12^th TIAF from 6^th to 10^th of March, 2022, by fading gradually the Covid-19 pandemic.

The 12^th Tehran International Animation Festival is proud of attending 1500 films from 85 countries; judging seven sections of the festival; printing catalogs and specialized books; holding 20 professional sessions along with more than 250 screenings in five days; and presence of 30 reputable animation companies.

Unfortunately, due to the epidemic and expansion of the Omicron and in order to maintain the health of the noble animation community, and appreciate the efforts of the medical staff of the country, the date of the festival is postponed to 29^th May to 2^nd June 2022. We deeply hope to be able to hold Tehran International Animation Festival (TIAF) as the anticipated schedule.
